Britney Spears Giving Her Sister An Eco-Friendly Nursery

March 14th 2008

spears.jpgBritney Spears’ 16-year-old sister, Jaime Lynn, is expecting her first child — and the somewhat-famous singer couldn’t be more thrilled. She’s already reportedly spent $30,000 on lavish gifts and furniture for her future niece or nephew. From the article,

“A source close to the star said: “Petit Tresor is designing the nursery for Jamie Lynn’s baby in Kentwood, Louisiana. It has an ocean theme, and is going to have organic bedding and baby blankets.”

We applaud the green — but seriously question Britney’s contribution to the nursery. Added the source, “She also ordered a custom made, six-foot tall elephant with a blue bow which she wants to sit in the middle of the nursery.”

Because nothing says ocean-themed-nursery like a giant six-foot elephant.

  1. How is a 6ft Elephant even remotely eco-friendly?

    When is excess EVER eco-friendly?

Remember the first, R, Britney: REDUCE.

  2. How a cute!!! She love her sister. I think her little sister will like this “little” elephant.
