The current article you are reading does not reflect the views of the current editors and contributors of the new Ecorazzi

timberlake.jpgHoping that future aspiring singers get the same opportunities he did, Justin Timberlake last week split $200,000 between two music organizations in his home town of Memphis, Tennessee. $100,000 went to the Memphis Rock ‘n’ Soul Museum and the same figure again to the Memphis Music Foundation. From the article,

“Speaking about the donations, Justin said: ‘Music education and keeping the legacy of Memphis music alive has always been important to me. That is why I will always continue to support my hometown the same way they have always supported me.'”

Timberlake is currently in Memphis filming the independent film The Open Road — you can also see him make a cameo in the new Mike Meyers comedy The Love Guru.
