The current article you are reading does not reflect the views of the current editors and contributors of the new Ecorazzi

Ecorazzi reported earlier today about Faith Hill and Collin Raye performing at Muhammad Ali’s Celebrity Fight Night. Well it looks like those aren’t the only country music stars hootin’ and harlin’ for the sake of charity.

A slew of stars, including Carrie Underwood and Vince Gill, will step up the plate on June 4th at Greer Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee for the 18th Annual City of Hope Celebrity Softball Challenge.

The softball game will feature two teams of celebrities competing to raise money for the City of Hope, a leading research and treatment center for cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Phil Vassar, Chuck Wicks, Danielle Peck, James Otto and Jake Owen are also part of the all-star lineup, with others to be announced soon.

Like country? Like softball? Like charity? Well then two-step on over to Ticketmaster and get your seats, ya’ll!
