A housing developer — with some 100-acres near the eastern coast of New Zealand’s north island — is making an interesting online marketing pitch to eco-conscious celebrities. From the site,
“We are creating the special Comm-Unity for Conscious Celebrities who would like to share 100 Acres / 16 Individual lots (2 Hectres / 4.8 Acres each) with Community Areas. Community Areas will provide Cafe (Gourmet Cooked and Raw Foods) / Store, Yoga / Dance / Fitness / Beauty / Meditation Center. Majority of Dream Home sites and access roads already formed, building consent available for Green Prestige Homes. Paradise location with Magical Views, completely surrounded by protected Native Bush.”
Is this an eco-village? Is this a “Comm-Une”? Either way, the stress is on green building, with the certified architects for sustainable design already picked and ready. Judging by the appeal for celebrities, we’re also thinking this piece of wild beauty is well beyond our wallets. Only one thing frightens me:
“It is Time to Manifest Paradise in New Zealand Malibu.”
Please. One Malibu is enough.
