Natalie Portman’s new public service announcement about voting is neither partisan nor related at all to the current presidential campaign. Instead, she’s simply encouraging people to get out and participate in the democratic process. The video is tethered to a new documentary Chicago 10, about protesters at the 1968 Democratic National Convention. Portman also directs people to check out Takepart — a website that promotes discussion of political issues of concern. See the clip below:
