Tommy Lee And Ludacris Hit Battleground Earth On Planet Green

At first I read the above as “Battlefield Earth” and thought we were going to be treated to another round of John Travolta dressed as a Klingon-type thing.
Thankfully, Battleground Earth is the name of yet another new series set to debut on Discovery’s Planet Green network. The show is 10-episode reality series that will pit various celebrities against each other in green-themed competitions. From the article,
“Battleground will feature Chris “Ludacris” Bridges and Tommy Lee criss-crossing the country competing in various challenges designed to highlight green issues. The series will culminate with the two artists converging in Los Angeles to co-headline a concert at the Greek Theater with proceeds benefiting Griffith Park.”
Interesting. Planet Green’s Eileen O’Neill said Battleground is designed to emphasize entertainment over eco-preaching; something that Discovery is going to have to work hard to find a balance to should they risk turning off viewers. Cameras are expected to start rolling on the series in two to three weeks. Dig it?

I thought these guys were trying to save the world but judging from the fact that I saw Tommy Lee and a host of TV crew at the airport the other day getting on some jumbo jet to go someplace for the show I have decided that this whole show must be Ludacris. Truly it is a shame when celebrities jump on the eco-bandwagon just to do another BS show to promote themselves. I’m all for getting the word out but really?!!
If anyone got any pictures from April 26th, I would love to get copies.
Thanks.

Today i was at a Santa Fe Renaissance Fair and Ludacris and Tommy Lee and the whole tv crew showed up to shoot the movie. i was a bit suprised. It was upsetting that they would go out in public to do something like that then not even talk to their fans. I think this is just something to boost their career. SHAME ON YOU GUYS! hahah oh and on the renaissance fair episode look for me! I am wearing white shirt and ripped jeans!!! i walked in front of camera at a few points!!!!
