You know what I love more than watching twenty something drunken hook-ups and competitive machoism — watching twenty something hook-ups and competitive machoism snuggled deep in a hearth of recycled appliances and bamboo flooring. Yes that’s right, as Ecorazzi mentioned earlier the 20th season of The Real World will officially be green!
We told you before about the solar panels, hybrid cars, bamboo flooring, energy efficient appliances, and the multitude of recycled and reused products, but MTV is taking it a step further by offering fans the option to take up residence in the Virtual Real World. In the Virtual Real World users can click on different areas of the house to learn environmental facts, create eco-friendly virtual clothing and share stories about what they’ve done to better the environment
Also, this year, the cast will consist of people who are on a mission to pursue their dreams. Co-Creator and Chairman & President of Bunim-Murray Productions Jon Murray said, “On this 20th anniversary season we wanted to get back a little to the show’s origins by casting people who were pursuing dreams of careers in the entertainment business.”
Maybe you like The Real World and maybe you don’t, but it’s pretty undeniable that the youth of this country look to the media to set the example and I’m proud of them for trying to set a good one. So tune in to The Real World on April 16th on MTV…20 dollars says they’ll be at least a little organic vodka binge drinking,
