Good for Barbra. She’s been in Show Biz for over 40 years and shows that she’s a class act. She stated in the opening remarks of her concert, in every city she performed at, that she wanted to raise money for “good causes”. And even though she gets lambasted by the Right for being a liberal, this is a great example of her walking-the-walk and doing what she said she’d do.

Streisand stated that part of the motivation for her 2006-2007 Tour was to raise money for causes she cared about. Of course, critics took aim at the high prices – but to date, Streisand has donated $16 million from that tour to charity and I’m sure there will be more to come. At least Streisand puts her money where her mouth is and tries to do some real good. A truly classy lady with a God-given voice.
