All I can say is Wow. It really is a LOT harder than you think to spend all that money. My own shopping cart included fending off home foreclosures, finish repairing damage done by Hurricane Katrina, Increase sustainable Organic Produce in the US, housing for America’s homeless, and my dream house…and I’m nowhere near that $3 trillion mark.

As for whether each of us can change anything…as individuals, we can’t. But united, we can. And while I also believe that God will, in the end, give evildoers what is coming to them, I also believe it is the responsibility of each of us to do what we can to inspire change for the greater good. Unfortunately, noone taught our president that, so we all have to suffer for it.

You know I really do not think that we can really change anything or anyone but ourselves. The corruption is too large. I do believe there is a God though and that he protects us from all evil. The closer you are to him the better your life becomes. God gave us life as a gift to enjoy. He does not want us to suffer. He wants us to reign in life. Evil will destroy evil and corruption will destroy corruption. So you know we make it what it is. If someone is doing wrong, I believe they will suffer the consequences of that wrong. It is not for us to stop or change. I don’t think we can. Do you?
