The issue is getting sufficient B12. They can eat as many veggies as they can get their hands on, but without that nutrient, they will succumb to neurological disorders. That is one of the many reasons that people who live in poor urban areas of India have so many problems of that nature. But yes, what it all boils down to is eating a pig is not different than eating a dog. That's why I choose to not eat either. PETA needs to focus on celebs who are going to pinks rather than get all huffy at someone just trying to explore local food.
