The 6 million gallons of water was because construction workers broke a water main on her property. It has since been fixed.

Her water cost for March was only $200.

Aha, glad to see you did print this. I too would blame Celine if she were American (hell often times I forget she’s not) She appears to have the love for everything American – big houses fur coats, lotsa meat, media attention. She’s an embarrassment to the Canadians. Most of them – I love!

That is very true…everyone is responsible. So I don’t think it’s a matter of singling out Celine or bashing her because “Americans love to bash Celine,” but rather pointing out a blantant example of our wasteful attitudes toward resources. Even if she were American, I would be appalled by this type of water waste. And if Tiger Woods is doing the same, I’m appalled by that too.

This article is a bit more realistic… Exactly my point. Why single out Celine Dion when others like Tiger Woods and many more use as much water?? Because she’s famous and Americans love to bash Celine… And at least it was mentioned that she didn’t live there last year! Everyone is responsible and no need to blame Celine alone…
