Heather Mills may not always get the best press, but from seeing her live I know that she sincerely cares about the well being of animals and is never afraid to speak her mind…even if it pisses people off.
And speaking of getting pissed off, rumor has it that Heather recently lost her cool at a New York party when the crowd refused to listen to her speech. Mills was at the event to talk about the cruelty of puppy farms, but found it hard to get a word in at all as the guests rudely spoke over her.
She reportedly said: “Listen up at the back. I haven’t been up for 24 hours and flew here from London to be ignored.” Then later in the evening, she complained that: “People go to these events, have a drink and leave.”
Well Heather, as someone who also goes to a lot of these events I think you’re right!! Most of the time people show up, get their pictures taken, drink the free booze and leave with a heavy gift bag and totally ignore the whole point of the evening. Good for you for standing up for yourself and demanding a little damn respect!

Right on! Demand that respect
Hell yeah!
On a side note: Kristen I think you’ll be happy to hear that I’m now eating two meals a day raw!
I can’t decide about her. I want to believe she really cares and the countless news reports she really doesn’t give as much to charity as she says and that she’s a goldigging @$**&# aren’t true… but .. I don’t know either she really really cares about the animals or she’s a psycho like the media says.
Well I guess it doesn’t have to be one or the other. I don’t know her personally so I can’t really speak on if she’s a gold digger or not, but I have seen her speak and I do believe she sincerely cares about animals and works hard to promote veganism. So maybe when it comes to black and white she’s one of those grey heroes.
I’ve always supported Heather, she has done amasingly well given her disability and the horribly UK press coverage. Some times she does make it tough on herself, but i really think she is a true activist and animal supporter.
“Go heather!”
