Sara is the Editor and CitiJo (Citizen Journalist) Manager of YouthNoise, a nonprofit organization that serves as a platform for young people to be heard, take action, and network around their favorite causes. She’s also a graduate student and volunteers with many organizations. Married to her high school sweetheart and mother to a very tenacious preschooler, she’s big on family (and getting said family to go green), earth spirituality, getting artsy and being as ambitious as possible.

Planet Green is a truly AWESOME network. When I first heard about the migration of Discovery Home over to exclusively green content, I was dubious because Hollywood has given many aspects of sustainability short shrift. Not here! Planet Green is the real thing and the Battlefield Earth competition is a wonderful example of the creativity and production gravitas which are being brought to bear.
