Weather Channel Founder Blames Al Gore For High Oil Prices
Taking a page from FOX news
Filed under: not green — michael @ 2:41 pm
We couldn’t be more pleased to see John Coleman — the one-year President and founder of the Weather Channel — arise once more to let us know that environmentalism and Al Gore are to blame for high oil prices — not the economy, not the weak dollar, conflicts in the Middle East, supply and demand, or speculation.
Al Gore.
In a letter he read to the San Diego Chamber of Commerce, Coleman lays out why he believes Global Warming is a scam, why CO2 is really our friend (remember those hilarious commercials?) and basically every other reason why we should all repent for even thinking of working towards a more sustainable society and away from Big Oil.
The funny thing about Coleman is that he’s using the exact same blame game as FOX News did a month ago. Then, it was “Blame Al Gore For Your Rising Food Prices“.
Eventually, we’ll move past arguments like Coleman’s and actually start getting down to business on addressing our environmental stewardship. Till then, these people aren’t just beating a dead horse, they’re crawling up inside it and getting cozy. At least, that’s what it smells like.

If that’s your only come back to what John Coleman wrote then you’re just another bullshit artist perpetrating the fraud known as man made global warming.
Let’s be serious. He wouldn’t wear an aluminum foil hat. It would be solid gold and lined with blubber.
I agree with Brian Mallon… You will not even consider the well-thought points brought out by Coleman, because you have drank the Kool-Aid. Science by press release and consensus is not science, which never closed the book on any issue. The facts that Coleman espouses are true. You simply want to believe in the global warming fraud because you have bought into the environmentalist’s religious cult. You are afraid of losing your station amongst your peers. You are a coward and a dumb ass.
I totally agree with you, when I read the news article about what John Coleman said I about fell over laughing. He must be about 51 cards short of a full deck!
Saying Coleman is crazy is not an argument. Either you don’t understand the argument he lays out in detail, or you choose to Denounce and speak louder than a view you oppose in order for that view to not be heard and lose its credibility. Counter the argument with facts and thinking people can decide if what Al says is true. After all he invented the internet.
Hey Ron — speaking of facts: http://www.snopes.com/quotes/internet.asp
This article is as bad as the global warming fanatics. It gives no real facts or figures about Coleman, it just says he is crazy and you would be crazy to believe him, and not Al Gore. Weather you believe Coleman or not, the man states facts, unlike this rag
Getting Global Warming believers is like getting believers in,
RESTORE/REBUILD AMERICA
With a new Industrial Revolution!
Introduction
ZERO UNEMPLOYMENT TO AMERICA! How do we go about this?
The answer is really quite simple.
1. Rebuild over the next 6 years America’s infrastructure, sewer, water, electrical, and natural gas problems starting with major cities.
2. Iraq, we must tell them that at least 80% of their oil production (set a fixed purchase price of $60.00 a barrel for next 25 years) that must be allocated to the United States of America. And that the revenues from oil sales must be used in lieu of our money support.
3. Rebuild over the next 10 years America’s Interstates, and build new ones. A considerable number of present interstates no longer can accommodate present day traffic even if they are rebuilt. Therefore new Interstate highways must be built, and should be built in close proximity to the present ones. The design of new Interstates should consider making congested ones work as follows: Present Interstates I.E. I-95 should be used for short distance auto and truck traffic, new adjoining I-95 should become limited access with greater distances between access and exiting.
4. Build High speed railroad systems; these can be built between Interstates median.
5. Airport and seaports to be updated.
6. Update schools and libraries.
7. Fix Social security System.
8. Fix Medicaid and provide paid college education.
9. Update Local and Federal buildings.
10. Bring National, State & Local government deficit and debt to ZERO!

RESTORE/REBUILD AMERICA
With taxes of course, (except tobacco and alcohol products), here’s how we should go about it. Eliminate all and every kind of tax; fees, highway tolls, tunnels, bridges, and surcharges, etc. except fines.
Where the money comes from:
1. Income tax overhaul is how we do it. Create new tax tables, from zero tax to 90%, based on income of all natures and from all business and persons. Everyone then has lots more money to spend; everyone helps pay thru a one tax system. (Except at the low income levels,
2. Fix foreign aid! (Only to countries with no corruption)
3. Freeze all money transfers out of America. Keep our money here in America, put it to work here.
4. Cancel and stop all military contracts that are presently held by non-US Company’s.
5. Stop Free Trade on all imports on items that can be made in America. Bring back all types of manufacturing to America, zero employment!
6. Foreign investors must re-invest all profits within America, keep our money in America.
LET’S BUILD A NEW AMERICA, NOW!

Without dispute, the planet has always been either warming or cooling. Every scientist agrees on this.
So, if we said the planet was cooling and getting colder and that we needed to start belching more carbon into the air, burning trees, and driving our cars to warm it up — would Michael, the supreme judge of who is stupid pronounce us stupid or rational? What about it Michael?
[...] seen Al Gore blamed for high food and oil prices — but this latest approach by Glenn Beck is just revolting. Check out the below video as Beck [...]
Even if the claims of Al Gore were true, Coleman is still correct to say that the Global Warming movement increases the price of gas! Increased supply of oil through increased drilling would reduce the price or at least reduce the increases in the price of gasoline: Simple Supply and Demand!
Every country in the world except America rushes to cash in on the price of oil by drilling wherever they can EXCEPT AMERICA!
Please note that Big Oil and their allies in OPEC profit from the Global Warming propaganda which keeps the price of oil UP UP UP! Maybe that’s why the ROCKEFELLERS support Al Gore and Environmentalism!
