We couldn’t be more pleased to see John Coleman — the one-year President and founder of the Weather Channel — arise once more to let us know that environmentalism and Al Gore are to blame for high oil prices — not the economy, not the weak dollar, conflicts in the Middle East, supply and demand, or speculation.
Al Gore.
In a letter he read to the San Diego Chamber of Commerce, Coleman lays out why he believes Global Warming is a scam, why CO2 is really our friend (remember those hilarious commercials?) and basically every other reason why we should all repent for even thinking of working towards a more sustainable society and away from Big Oil.
The funny thing about Coleman is that he’s using the exact same blame game as FOX News did a month ago. Then, it was “Blame Al Gore For Your Rising Food Prices“.
Eventually, we’ll move past arguments like Coleman’s and actually start getting down to business on addressing our environmental stewardship. Till then, these people aren’t just beating a dead horse, they’re crawling up inside it and getting cozy. At least, that’s what it smells like.
