“I think mum would be really proud of me because I have actually done something in fashion. I’ve added to the McCartney pie. There’s no one else who does what I do and I love that. My mother was amazing. So much of what I do and what I stand for comes from her and the way I was brought up. In the fashion world, I’m viewed as this mad hippy because I won’t use leather or fur and I bang on about taking environmental issues seriously and being vegetarian.”
