Just when you thought it was safe to visit your local theatre without being attacked by killer climate change bacteria or trumpeter vines with an agenda — along comes Colony.

Details on this latest “eco-horror” film are light — in fact, there aren’t any other than that little tidbit. Participant Media has decided to run with the film saying that it “combines ‘a really scary movie’ with ‘a completely realistic environmental cautionary tale.’

So, zombies are out then?
