Camilla Parker Bowles celebrated her 61st birthday at an organic garden in England with her husband Prince Charles.  The Duchess of Cornwall wore the exact same outfit at her 60th birthday last year – memory or recycling?  The party was held at a 1940’s themed ‘Dig For Victory’ Allotment which is an effort to demonstrate how easy it is to grow an organic garden in a city environment. I like the idea of the U.S. revisiting the idea of Victory Gardens; we are at war and in a recession right now. The government (ya, right) should ask citizens to conserve by recycling and growing food at home.

Camilla was served a gorgeous organic carrot cake and received a large basket of organic produce – what a perfectly sustainable gift.
