The Japanese have written and published over 200 research papers plus the twice yearly data reports to the IWC. You really should lie like that.

And the Japanese admit and everybody knows that they sell the whale meat. The IWC regulations require them to sell the unused portions of the whales they perform research on.

Just wondering…I bet that all you useless sacks of pro whaling fanatics do nothing to help the world in any shape or form.

Instead of wasting your time typing guff on internet forums about something which you know nothing about, why don’t you pick yourselves up of the couch and go and save the world in your own way instead of pointing fingers in a useless guesture towards people who are. Clearly you have been unsuccessful in helping out the world thus far which is why so many species are going extinct, people die of starvation every single day and why so many people have no shelter and are forced to live on the streets. You can share in the blame because all you do is shout down people who want all of us to live in a better world.

WRONG!! In all the years the Japanese have been killing they have written one research paper. How many times can the contents of a whales stomach be examined—yeah, they eat fish. Recent DNA analysis of meat served in some restaurants have verified the whale meat is being sold commercially. This includes a restaurant in Los Angeles. You don’t like the show—don’t watch. You won’t be missed. Many of us would like for our future grandchildren to be able to see these wonderful animals. If the Sea Shepherds have to stop the killing by any means necessary they have my gratitude and admiration. As far as I’m concerned the Japanese are the terrorists traveling halfway around the world and into a internationally recognized sanctuary to kill Whales. The whalers who hit the Ady Gil with 6 people on board should be on trial for attempted murder and the owners of the corporation who own the whaling ships should be sitting right beside them.

Anyway, I agree that they are inexperienced, and I’m not particularly fond of Paul Watson. But whereas Greenpeace waves a couple flags and asks them to not kill whales, the Sea Shepherds actually intervene and prevent them from effectively killing off a species that is protected under international law.

And to all of you criticizing Sea Shepherd, get a fucking life. The strong emotional reaction to them is triggered by the knowledge that what they do is not only morally justifiable, it’s perhaps the most effective means of preserving whales in the world.
