The Green Picture: Christian Bale Wears Sea Shepherd

The Caped Crusader aka Christian Bale was photographed at the Heathrow airport wearing a different  super-hero outfit – a Sea Shepherd T-shirt.  Recently we reported Christian’s stats as a vegetarian and prolific activist, so it’s no surprise to see him wearing the mark of the good pirates of the seas.

Sea Shepherd is an international non-profit working for marine wildlife conservation, and they’re known for using kick-ass direct action to investigate, defend, and shut down evil wrong doers. This, fall the org will be featured in a new documentary series on Animal Planet called Whale Wars.

I can totally picture Christian out on one of their boats defending whales and seals.

    I didn’t think it was possible for Mr. Bale to get any more attractive, but finding out he’s so involved in environmental causes have definitely made him even more so!

    I am a Sea Shepherd member and we are called the Pirates of Compassion. Our ship “Steve Irwin” is now docked in Brisbane port for repairs and will be open to the public once repairs are finished. Thank you Christian Bale for your support.

    I was really pleased to see Christian Bale is a vegetarian and a activist who also supports the Sea Shepherds. Now more then ever we must take part in securing our future by saving the earth. Christian is in good company in support of the Sea Shepherds; Brigitte Bardot, Mick Jagger, Martin Sheen, Susan Sarandon, Dalai Lama, Steve Wynn, Pierce Bronsnan, Sean Penn, Aidan Quinn, Edward Norton, Richard Dean Anderson, Uma Thurman and hopefully you all. They risk their lives for the beloved animals and the oceans-
