The Miley Cyrus Eco Song May Be The Best One Yet

We talked about Miley Cyrus’s new eco-themed song from her upcoming album earlier — but I finally had the opportunity to listen to it and guess what? My ears didn’t bleed!
Admittedly, this is a super-poppy song — with a few “C’mon!” shouts thrown in — but I give props to whomever came up with the wording . It ain’t easy putting “global warming” and “going green” into a beat that will actually not cause kids to hit “next” on their iPods. The only other artist to successfully manage a green theme in her music was Sheryl Crow with “Shine Over Babylon” — and even that one almost made me slit my wrists from depression.
So, hey, kudos to Miley. You’ve avoided joining the ranks of Madonna and Greenpeace with “Crappiest Green Songs That Hate Your Ears”.

Stuff global warming in your stocking! Dedicate trees this holiday season through 
This is actually one of my favorite songs on the album (I like the cookie-cutter-pop-star stuff!) and it has a great beat. Gotta love those Disney channel stars:)
I gotta say, of all the questionable things Miss Cyrus has done over the past few months, recording this song wasn’t one of them. I’m happy to hear her delivering such a great message!

it does sound like a ton of other “Pop” songs but maybe that’s a good thing. it’s not bad… (funny about the comment on the few “c’mon!” shouts) I noticed that too. but still catchy for sure…
maybe kids will open their eyes. i just talked to a girl today who wants to buy a big car and doesn’t care about gas mileage and wants something that looks cool and not “dumb and small” hopefully she’ll hear this song and care for a change.
