The current article you are reading does not reflect the views of the current editors and contributors of the new Ecorazzi

Vegetarian keyboardist Jacob Thiele of The Faint caught up with PETA2 to give a quick interview from everything on his thoughts about fur to how easy it is to be a vegetarian. “I love animals. It’s hard for me to see animals suffer and die for something as frivolous as a cheeseburger,” Jacob says. He’s even volunteered with PETA in their Burger King campaign.

Now The Faint is teaming up with PETA2 to give away free copies of their new album, Fasciinatiion. Make sure you enter soon as entries are only being accepted until August 13.

You can catch the rest of Jacob’s interview and sign up for a chance to win at PETA2.

Why Vegetarianism Makes No Sense From A Moral Perspective

I don’t consider my years as a vegetarian as a stepping-stone or prerequisite to veganism

I hope I win the ‘Pig Farmers of Tomorrow’ contest I entered (I’m vegan)

I think I’ll likely have the most interest in pigs of anyone applying, anyway.

Hopefully Jon & Tracey Stewart use their new farm for vegan education

They’ve promised classes on caring for animals and sustainable agriculture, so vegan 101 would be a great place to start.
