The hit show The Secret Life of the American Teenager is probably where most of you know Daren Kagasoff from.  He’s earned teen mag pin-up favorite by playing bad boy Ricky on the ABC Family drama. He was recently at the Do Something Awards and was asked if he could describe his perfect eco-date.  Daren’s response was a bit fishy (hee hee I pun),

“Eco-friendly?  Oh, I could definitely!  Getting picked up in a Toyota Prius; going out to a cool meal that doesn’t use any stoves or anything—you know, raw fish—we’ll stick with sushi.  And yah!  And you won’t use the restroom too much during the date so we’ll save some water.”

Oh, swoon!

Please do substitute beef for beans, but also have tofu instead of turkey, carrots instead of chicken, and I think you see where I’m going.

Guys, extortion isn’t an effective form of vegan advocacy

Assuming we can extort people into respecting the lives of others makes no sense.
