Remember a few weeks back when Camp McCain accused presumptive democratic nominee Barack Obama that his drinking organic Honest Tea made him ‘elitist’? Yea, we thought it was pretty hilarious — and in the spirit of elections, we’ve teamed up with Honest Tea to bring that same controversial yummy brew into your home.

The sampling consists of Honest Tea’s most popular USDA-certified Organic iced teas, Honest Ade thirst quenchers and Honest Kids drink pouches. Among those included will be the two newest teas to be brewed with Fair Trade Certified tea leaves – Lemon Black Tea and Peach White Tea – and the “Green Energy Teas” – Jasmine Green Energy Tea and Citrus Green Energy Tea.     First of all, I love tea and have never tried Honest Tea, so this seems like a very favorable option for me.

    Secondly, I am going to pick The Secret of My Success because it helped me to learn how to spell the word success with it’s very repetitive title song. “S-U-C-C-E-S-S, that’s the way you spell success.” Plus it was wonderfully cheesy like every good 80s movie should be.

    As for 80s movies, It has to be Sixteen Candles. I love that movie.

    Ohhh new Honest Tea flavors! I have loved many of the teas of their I’ve tried so far. Peach is always delicious when blended with tea, so I’d love to try that.

    80′s Movie – The Princess Bride!! Of course! LOVE that movie. I have it on DVD and still watch it when it comes on TV. And Back to the Future. Also awesome.

    I can’t get the rules page to open so I’m not sure if I’m eligible, but I’d love to enter if Canadians may. I’ve only had the opportunity to try one kind of Honest Tea so far (Moroccan Mint Green Tea, which I found, oddly enough, at a small town cafe), but I liked it and I wish it was more widely available here.

    I’ve loved Honesst Tea for years, but I do have to say I am totally bummed that they decided to start using plastic bottles! What is up with that?!

    jax in- The plastic bottles aren’t replacing the glass bottles. They’re for different flavors that are sold in other markets.

    jaxin, they say they use the plastic bottles because 1) it’s lighter to transport, and 2) there are places glass can’t go that plastic can.

    Now, I am a huge, huge fan of Honest Tea (just ordered a 24 pack of the Citrus Energy Green Tea online), and not just because they’re based in Bethesda, Maryland (I live in DC). In addition to the Citrus Energy, I love the Lori’s Lemon Tea and the Pomagranate Blue Honest Ade. No, I drink it because unlike too many tea drinks, it’s sweetened with cane sugar and doesn’t have the artificial crap I don’t want. If enjoying a natural organic beverage makes one elitist, then I guess I’m elitist.

    But Senator McCain, I’d say not being able to say how many damn homes you own is what really makes you look not only elitist but more than a little confused.

    Favorite 80s movie? “The Breakfast Club.”

    Honest Teas are truly the best. Not only are their ingredients really tasty and uniquely combined, but they don’t have much sugar. I prefer my teas unsweetened and these are the closest thing to that.

    Oh, and my favorite 80s movie is probably Pretty in Pink. I love the part where she makes her own prom dress out of another dress.
