Jennifer Lopez Competes In Triathlon For Children’s Hospital

On your mark, get set…GO! It’s been reported that Jennifer Lopez will compete in her first triathlon to raise money for the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles on September 14th in Malibu, California. But she won’t be alone! Jenny from the block will compete in the run with SELF magazine editor-in-chief Lucy Danziger.
Why SELF magazine editor-in-chief? Well the magazine recently named Lopez one of the 10 most inspiring women of 2008, of course. Lopez also launched her personal blog on the magazine’s site.
Sure a triathlon is a lot of work, but Lopez plans to finish the race even if she “has to crawl across that finish line.” Jennifer told Good Morning America, “You have to start slow and give yourself time.” Adding, “I’m always challenging myself and seeing what I can do.”
