There seems to be baby fever going around my neck of the woods. Quite a few of my close friends are welcoming their new little ones, and my youngest will be a year old at the end of this month. In all the excitement, I catch a little baby fever myself, and live vicariously through other people in order to cope. Specifically celebrities, and I’m especially excited for this birth announcement.
Actor, charity poker player, and co-founder of the H20 Africa Project, Matt Damon, and his wife Luciana welcomed a new baby girl into the world yesterday. The family’s newest addition, named Gia Zavala, joins her big sisters Isabella (2) and Alexis (10).
That’s a lot of girls! And he seems to think so, too, having recently told the USA Today, ”I’m so outnumbered down here, it’s crazy.” It’s okay, Matt. My husband can sympathize with you on that one. I love the choice of name. It’s unique but not too far out there. Say it with me a few times. It’s fun!

I believe at this point in history, to be sustainable, all earthlings need to be producing no more than one child per family.
human earthlings that is.
