Since I introduced the 80’s theme in the last giveaway, I thought we might continue it with this fantastic throw-back combo of an all-organic “CALL ME 80′S TEE” and some “POP ROCK & ROLL EARRINGS” from the fashionably sustainable shop, BTC Elements.
Summer Bowen was one of the original contributors to Ecorazzi and since then has stormed the online green world with a beautiful collection of fashion, gifts, and accessories with an eye to the environment and social justice. Here’s a bit from the site,
“Because we work closely with small designers and artists who share our passion, our online boutique carries many one-of-a-kind items you won’t find anywhere else. Our goal is to delight you with our distinctive collection of mindful products while providing value and excellent service.”
But back to the giveaway! The 80’s shirt is a yellow tee with red and white overlapping stripes. Wide asymmetrical V-neck in front and back, and longer length tee for the perfect fit. The Pop Rock and Roll Earrings are actually made from shiny old vinyl records! Grab ‘em in your choice of 8 colors!

Don’t forget! We’re still accepting entries for the Rume Reusable Bags and the Honest Tea Gift Pack giveaways! Good luck!

R.E.M.- “The one I love”
I tell ya, this is the best song ever!!!!
i grew up in the 80’s and totally dig the products. They’d fit me like a glove.
I so want that. I used to be quite the Duranie back in the day, but I don’t think I’d consider any of their songs my favorite now. If I had to, I’d go for “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun.” Even today, Cyndi Lauper kicks ass onstage.
And I confess I once had a rat tail. My sister would sometimes braid it, and we’d hold it in place with a rubber band from my braces.
The 80s rocked. Full of funk and livelyy bold colors! I was a huge fan of Depeche Mode back then!
Juicy Fruit by Mtume
I was a kid in the 80’s and used to love Tears for Fears, especially “Shout”.
I would totally wear both of these things! My favorite 80s song is 99 Red Balloons. (I know it’s depressing from an environmental perspective, but I like singing it at karaoke.)
So cute!
i am TOTALLY stealing that neckline. even if i don’t win this, you will see me wearing a chopshop version soon…
let’s see, why should i win these… because i was born in the 80s, i love green fashion and i’m moving to nyc tonight.
I love the unusual neckline on the t-shirt
*Thanks* for the giveaway!
Great prizes. I loved anything Michael Jackson in the 80s. (I know…but admit it, you all did too!
my sister and i will fight over this one (she’s bidding for it too) but i’m younger and cuter. oh and my favorite song is turning japanese by the vapors!
Only one song from the 80s?! That’s rough. I have to go with Tears for Fears “Head over Heels”. Love that song.
I missed all the fun of the 80″s because I was having kids… can I have the experience now?
Does 80s bollywood music count?
i can’t pick just one song….that’s like picking a favorite child! but i still love all the new wave that came out of that era.
Duran Duran counts? Well, oddly enough, the picture makes me remind of them.
Woe, so you get the earrings and the tee? Both look really nice. I wish I had them both when I went to see George Michael recently.
ooh yellow and purple, an awesome color combo. so very cute and stylish.
favorite 80s song? billie jean by michael jackson, or basically, anything michael jackson!
I used to be an 80’s snob for bands like Duran Duran etc. Thought they were to “pop”. Now since I moved to FLorida, (the radio stations in my area are pretty boring) when I hear “Hungry like the wolf” driving down the road…I think it sounds pretty damn good!
Duran-Duran: Hungry Like the Wolf!! Hands down, makes me dance everytime!
yes please!
My favorite 80s song is blue Jean by bowie
That’s a good question. This answer is going to make me look like an idiot, but Girls Just Want To Have Fun was one of my favorites.
Crazy for you by Madonna. i thought that was sooo going to be my wedding song – ha!
I have so many 80’s songs that I love. I used to hate them after high school but I’ve come full circle and like them again. My favorite one was probably “Africa” by Toto. Wow, flashback headache.
blue jean!! of course!
