I’m not really sure who Katy Perry is, but apparently her song I Kissed A Girl is wildly popular; as is her new album One Of The Boys.

Anyways, she’s famous enough that she’s decided to auction off her breasts for charity. Now, you won’t actually have dominion over her breasts should you win, rather a nice plaster mold of them will be sent to your door instead. All of this is being done to help raise money for the cancer charity, Keep A Breast Foundation.

The auction should be happening sometime later this year. In the meantime, the video below will show you what you have to look forward to.

i agree. pretty sad when she copied jill sobule’s hit song from the 90′s also called “I kissed a girl” Difference is Jill actually kisses a girl in HER video and didn’t make the song for shock value to sell a few records. I love it when people who copy like this end up has beens in 2 years. THAT will be fun to see.

Erin, I remember Jill Sobule and still have that CD in my collection. And of course, remember that song! But that doesn’t mean that it was copied, though. A lot of creative works have similar themes (love, passion,) but don’t qualify for rip offs, plagarism, etc. If so, too many country songs would be rip offs of the themes of cheating, depression, etc…

Ha, ha. Hope I didn’t offend any country fans on that. I have some Shania Twain and southern rock music (Allman Brothers) in my collection as well!

    hi veg ;-)

i agree that creative work can be similar, but another song by the same title about the exact same subject matter… seems a little too coincidental to me. but then again, that’s giving katy perry major creds that she would even list to jill sobule (which i kind of doubt – especially since she was making christian albums until a few years ago – nothing against christians ;)

and yeah it’s ok. i like older country and alt country, just not the stuff the play on the radio.. country western or whatever that is? Allman Brothers are real country not the watered down stuff you hear on the airwaves ;)

I’ve still got that cd and a few others by jill in my collection too. was even fortunate enough to talk with her at a few concerts i attended of hers… we hav e a common friend ;) I know the songs sound NOTHING alike and do give Perry kudos for breaking out of her christian shell but agree with shane she’ll be yesterday’s news real quick..

    ;) E
