She should ask “environmentalists” about “global warming and issues like that”. Many of them couldn’t tell you about entire nations already existentially threatened by climate change.

At least half the kids realise that global warming isn’t an issue. There’s been no warming for the past 10 years, even though carbon dioxide has increased 5%. On the other hand, sunspot activity has stopped. This typically leads to global cooling. Time to worry the other way.
