America’s Next Top Model Cycle 11 Goes Vegan

In these times of great uncertainty it’s dire that we Americans speak up and declare ourselves. We must read the facts, watch the candidates in action and make the important decision of whom we think is best fit for the job. THE RUNWAY JOB!

Yes kids, today we’re talking about America’s Next Top Model! Earlier in the year Ecorazzi gave the reality model show a HUGE thumbs down after they forced the models to pose in a meat locker wearing the carcasses of dead animals. (Insert vomit noises here.) However, this season ANTP welcomes a super hot vegan activist named Elina and we can’t help but jump up and down with joy.

We don’t know much about Elina yet, but she’s passed episode one with flying colors and it looks like she’ll be sticking around for a long while. Elina was asked at the beginning of the episode if, as a vegan chick, she would be able to do the meat locker challenge from last year. The answer: a definitive NO! How will Elina handle those tough challenges that are less than animal-friendly? I guess we’ll have to wait and see. For now, Ecorazzi is pleased to officially endorse our first ANTM candidate… ELINA 2008!!!

    I’m not sure about her. I mean, looks-wise she’s phenomenal. But I didn’t think her answer was a firm “no” about the meat shoot from last season. She said something along the lines of “Hmm… that a tough one. I don’t think so.”

    And I didn’t like when she was excited to be a contest because she’s “not just in it for the modeling like the other girls. [she's] here for a cause, too.” It just rubbed me wrong.

    Love her. I am so happy there is finally a vegan on here. You know they are going to do something awful like a fur photoshoot or something.

    Her answer about the meat shoot didn’t bother me. I thought about what I would have done and I wasn’t sure either. I mean, say no and you risk getting booted, never getting the chance to get your voice out there. Do it and if you win you can really push for you cause, but you also risk as coming off as a hypocrite.

    Anyways, I love her. The end.

    I noticed that they were really pushing the green movement on the premiere last night. The bus they used even said “Going Green is Fierce”. They’re definitely hopping on the bandwagon!

    is it worth mentioning that ANTM’s top sponser is Covergirl, who test on animals?

    if Elina wins she will become one of the Covergirls.
    How does that tie in with her veganism?
