Those bags are pretty cute, but I don't really see the point in buying re-usable bags that can only be used for carrying stuff around. 'Cause nowadays there are re-usable bags that can be used for a lot more than that--specifically Carebags, something my local grocer showed me. They're really cool because instead of being big and clunky and made in China they're light, extremely durable, and made in Canada. With them I can buy, wash, and store my veggies all in one bag, as well as use them for brewing teas and coffee, keeping ends of soap bars fresh for later use, creating earthquake kits, growing sprouts, and tons more. While you're reducing waste, why not have fun with it?

btw!

It's more eco friendly to just reuse the bags that they give you in the store than going out and buying reusable bags. There's more waste in the production of the reusable bag.

Just make sure the paper bags are doubled when you reuse them. Lasts forever!!! (kinda)

Oh and it's more eco friendly to just use what you have until it's beat up, than it is to throw things away and replace it with a new eco-friendly item.

Shh! don't tell Whole Foods!!!!

I work at Whole Foods.

It's funny, right before we started selling the Sheryl Crow bags WF told their team members to design a new reusable bag. I was going to do a white bag with red cursive print that said "Plastic is so Passe" and then out pops these Sheryl Crow bags!

I don't think Sheryl Crow ever worked at Whole Foods. I will never know what happened to that contest. Yea, I'm a lil' bitter, so what!

I'm just sad cuz WF is turning into such a corporation it's unsettling. =/

At least my benefits are still good. =)

Ah that's so cute. If only I didn't have like 5 reusable bags from Whole Foods Market already, and 1 from Trader Joe's. That might be a problem for the "trendy" who want to stay on top of the curve. When you buy a reusable bag, the next one is better, and the next one. What a vicious cycle.

OK soo ... I have basically an arsenal of reusable grocery bags but I find myself leaving them at home these days because I need the plastic to ... pick up dog feces. I always feel like such a cad in the supermarket line. Anyone have any suggestions as to alternatives? I'm not going to buy dog bags, though, I'm on a student budget.

I proly would agree with a poster above that her tours and such are proly anyhting but green. And her new clothing line...does anyone know if they are sweat shop free and all that?

Plus does she eat meat?

This bag is really cute too! I don't know if i could buy it though...maybe if it doesn't have her name on it....
