Naomi Campbell Spends Time At London Soup Kitchen For Bad Behavior

September 10th 2008

It’s always nice to see celebrities rolling up their Gucci sleeves and helping those who are not as fortunate. But somehow it’s just a tad less satisfying when they’re being FORCED to pitch in.

On Tuesday, Naomi Campbell helped her community by logging in some forced charity time at a soup kitchen in London. The good deed was inspired by a judicial order after Naomi spat at a police officer in Heathrow Aiport earlier in the year. And just how much did the spitting incident cost? 200 hours of hard time…community service time!

Rumor has it that Campbell showed up 10 minutes late to work and arrived in a chauffeur-driven limousine. Very humble, Naomi! And instead of being assigned more grueling work – like cleaning – she was asked to help with paperwork.

Here’s to hoping that the forced community service might rub off on the often ill-tempered star and help her to be a more pleasant creature. We shall see.
