The Green Picture: PETA Is Back And Pissed At Jennifer Lopez

A protester is pictured here at the Dennis Basso fashion show yesterday afternoon sporting an anti Jennifer Lopez sign. Earlier in the week PETA staged a protest at the Donna Karan fashion show even though reports have shown that no fur was actually used at the event. Basso, however, is most definitely a fur lover and PETA is pissed! But what does J-LO have to do with Basso? Anyone know?

It’s Dennis Basso, not Basson. He’s a lost cause. But then again, so is PETA. Do those morons really think calling someone an asshole is going to make them want to switch sides in such an ugly fight? Get a clue, people! Try being nice for a change.

I would think calling her an ahole isn’t probably the best way to get her to switch, then again PETA is all about being extreme.

It’s really a shame since so many people listen to her crappy music and watch her bad movies that she can’t be a better role model. Maybe she could save some of the money she spends on fur and go back to school and try getting an education. GED Anyone?

Ok….I’m checking this now but I am 99% sure this IS NOT PETA. The organizer of a group I protest with made this exact sign themselves…And of course they aren’t showing any OTHER sign or face, but to me I think it is the group W.A.R (Win Animal Rights) Esp if it’s Dennis Basso cause i remember a few weeks ago at an HLS protest they we were talking about it.

If that sign is “Extreme” how about getting anally electrocuted or skinned alive? To me that sign is not at ALL extreme and quite fitting.

Some protest are nice, some are not….it’s a mix and you would be surprised that sometimes the harshness works. Besides, I don’t think they main reason they were there was to shame poor little ol J-lo. Maybe that sign will change someone ELSE’S mind.

Then why on earth are you always trashing PETA?
Sometimes hard times require tough measures! Go sweet talk all those who benefit from the fur business and you’ll see how you are going to be treated.
And why should we be nice to people who wear fur of animals that were tortured and killed with horrible methods?

For instance if anyone hurt my 2 cats (‘who’ I love) I would sure hunt them down and make them suffer!!!

Why is it that every animal rights protest is labeled a Peta protest and every protester must be associated with Peta?

They actually stage very few protests in New York City in comparison to local grassroots organizations.

I think it’s very appropriate. She’s someone who is very popular with young girls and she could show compassion and stop wearing fur. But instead she wears tons of it even though she knows how the animals suffer (skinned alive, anally electrocuted etc.). Not only is Dennis Basso an asshole but anyone who wears fur is a cold hearted evil asshole. She could star in the most amazing movie ever and I’d would not pay money to see it. Boycott J-LO.

The sign is not extreme at all! Jenniffer Lopez needs to give up wearing murder over her shoulders and start wearing animal friendly clothing, JUST LIKE THE REST OF THE WORLD IS DOING. I would NEVER watch her movies nor would I pay for anything she ever tries to sell. I will boycott J-Lo until she gets it straight with animals. And if it WAS PETA, I would support them all the way. PETA is the better rolemodel out of all the celebrities. I agree and love PETA.

it’s funny that they’re always after her, i haven’t seen her wearing fur in a LONG time same for her fashion line, but Kate Hudson or Mary J blige wear Fur all the Time and they don’t give a damn, i would like to know why ?
