Leona Lewis WILL Release Her Own Line Of Vegan Products

It’s official! Leona Lewis is most definitely designing her own line of vegan products! Earlier this year, Ecorazzi reported the unofficial rumor that Leona Lewis was in talks with Sir Phillip Green to launch her own line of vegan clothing at Topshop. Well half the rumor was correct. It’s now been confirmed that PETA’s Sexiest Vegetarian of 2008 will indeed be bringing some hot new vegan products into the world…just NOT clothes.
Leona Lewis is apparently working on a vegan cruelty-free accessory line. She said on a recent video blog, “I don’t wear leather or any animal products, so I want to bring out a line . . . I’m kind of the real beginning stages of it. I’m not sure when it will be out, but I hope very soon.” We do to!

Firstly I would like to commend Leona, as a vegan I know how hard it can be to find stylish animal free fashion. I was disappointed however to read that she is a fan of Stella McCartney, who works with Gucci (known for its exotic skins and fur). There are many other genuine veggie friendly fashion labels out there. It would be great to see Leona supporting these instead! I’m sure other veggies/vegans will agree with me!
