Microsoft’s New “I’m A PC” Ads Feature Green Folks, No Seinfeld

If you were one of the unfortunate millions that saw Jerry Seinfeld and Bill Gates talk about “nothing” in a string of commercials to promote Microsoft Windows, I’m sorry. Seinfled supposedly received something like $10 million for that BS, making him the winner and the rest of us dumber because of it.
Thankfully, Microsoft’s new wave of ads is much less “WTF” and more “Originality is a bitch, so let’s just piggyback onto what Apple has done.” I mean, I give them credit for taking that “I’m a PC” insult and flipping it on its head — but seriously, Vista really does blow compared to OS X. Go ahead and debate it out.
Anyways, check out the cool green references in this ad. I’m hoping that Seinfeld is the guy in the shark cage.
This ad is showing the outdated Shuttle cockpit, with mechanical instruments, instead of the current glass cockpit.
How ironic that they are touting yesterday’s PC technology with yesterday’s cockpit technology.

Oh I really liked it……..it seemed very “real” in such a techno advanced age that we live in. I personally like it better than the MAC ad’s!
Mac ads are funny! I am full time apple user though! I agree that Mac os is much better than Vista!!!!
