McCain Owns Thirteen Cars. Obama Owns One.

But hey, at least three of those thirteen are electric-powered!

September 22nd 2008

When you own seven homes, you require an above-average fleet of vehicles to get you where you’re going. In John McCain’s case, this equals 13 cars. As much as the Republican nominee for president loves to champion the fact that he’s just like you and me, I really can’t grasp such an idea when he has a parking lot of vehicles. Meanwhile, how many cars do Michelle and Barack Obama have? 1. A 2008 Ford Escape Hybrid.

Now, to be fair — McCain does own three 2000 NEV Gem electric vehicles, which are bubble-shaped cars popular in retirement communities. So, there’s a bit of environmentally-friendly cruising involved. Of course, McCain could be walking everywhere and it would still be overshadowed by the fact that his wife Cindy uses private jets like they’re bicycles. In July she quipped that “in Arizona the only way to get around the state is by small private plane.”

Oh yea — they’re just like us.

Check out a slideshow of McCain’s personal fleet here.

  1. yah, he’d be just like me if i had enough houses and cars to start my OWN country, the political sense to pick lady macbeth for my running mate (with another standing watch over his shoulder), and just enough alzheimer’s to make “i don’t know” my favourite campaign catchphrase. *shudders* it’s like we’re SOULMATES.

  2. Which makes me especially mad when people call Barack Obama “elitist.” At least Obama won’t pause when asked how many homes he owns. I think it’s just one.

  3. Besides flying private jets around Cindy McCain she also steals drugs from charity and tries to cover it up.

i am SO voting for Obama. the McSames are sleazier than the Bushs

(and Cindy makes Laura look like Mother Theresa)

  4. Word, VeggieTart.

    This is just obscene.

  5. Does anyone else have this awful dread in their gut telling them, even after all of these facts, McCain could still be our next leader?

  6. If more proof was needed to realize maccain is just no good, there you have it!

However, I quite don’t understand how come it isn’t clear yet for everyone that maccain is just not the right person to be the president of the USA.
I mean, I immediately ‘felt’ he was not the real deal. I also ‘felt’ palin was pure evil and I was absolutely right! Don’t ask me how, but I knew it, and most of the times I am right about a person! Honestly :)

How do you expect a rich man with several houses, 13 cars and probably millions, to understand the ordeals of the average American? Where did the money to buy all of that come from? Can anyone tell me? Who do you think maccain will represent if elected? You or his rich and powerful friends like bush?

Reading about the polls for this election, during this last few weeks, I reached the conclusion (and please forgive me, this is my personal opinion, and whether you want to know it or not I will write anyway) that half of the Americans are completely ‘zombified’…

What’s there to think about? Obama isn’t perfect but he is far better than maccain…

  7. If OBAMA reduced GAS PRICES TO $1.O0 a gallon, the MCINSANE supporters would not vote for him. IT’S THE COLOR OF HIS SKIN. LOOK AT THE RNC and compare it to the DNC. THE DIFFERENCE OF NIGHT AND DAY.

THE DNC represented the real MELTING POT of AMERICA.

THE RNC kept showing the ONE HISPANIC, ONE ASIAN and SIX BLACKS over and over. I GUESS THEY FELT THAT ALL MININORITIES LOOK ALIKE SO WE WOULDN’T KNOW THE DIFFERENCE.

    IT’S CALLED RACISM AMERICA!!!!
