When you own seven homes, you require an above-average fleet of vehicles to get you where you’re going. In John McCain’s case, this equals 13 cars. As much as the Republican nominee for president loves to champion the fact that he’s just like you and me, I really can’t grasp such an idea when he has a parking lot of vehicles. Meanwhile, how many cars do Michelle and Barack Obama have? 1. A 2008 Ford Escape Hybrid.
Now, to be fair — McCain does own three 2000 NEV Gem electric vehicles, which are bubble-shaped cars popular in retirement communities. So, there’s a bit of environmentally-friendly cruising involved. Of course, McCain could be walking everywhere and it would still be overshadowed by the fact that his wife Cindy uses private jets like they’re bicycles. In July she quipped that “in Arizona the only way to get around the state is by small private plane.”
Oh yea — they’re just like us.
