Razzi Snap: Roger Ebert Slams Palin On Global Warming, Creationism

flowerLegendary film critic Roger Ebert has slammed Republican vice-presidential nominee Sarah Palin over her views on Global Warming, her push to have creationism be taught alongside evolution in schools, and her sneering when referring to people who go to the Ivy League. “I don’t want a vice president who is darned near good enough. I want a vice president who is better, wiser, well-traveled, has met world leaders, who three months ago had an opinion on Iraq,” he said. “Someone who doesn’t repeat bald- faced lies about earmarks and the Bridge to Nowhere. Someone who doesn’t appoint Alaskan politicians to “study” global warming, because, hello! It has been studied. You know I don’t always agree with Ebert’s feelings on certain films (Harold and Maude my all time favorite- Roger hated it?!? still can’t believe he did) BUT when it comes to politics this man is SPOT on! He is too cool! I hope he’s ok after his battle with cancer and suggest he try some holistic methods for his pain discomfort and some healing.
