I think that in the last eight years we could have done an incredible amount to change this country; be less reliant on foreign oil and start to develop alternative ways of getting energy through wind and solar power. I wish we’d have done that in the last eight years, but we didn’t. So I’m going to vote in a way where I feel that we’re going to start to finally make that transition.”
– Leonardo DiCaprio speaking with Entertainment Tonight about his new film Body of Lies. While Leo didn’t specifically state who he was supporting, we think these pictures do a pretty good job of telling the whole story.

If DiCaprio was truly sincere about his convictions on global warming, he’d stop making movies (which is one of the most environmentally un-friendly businesses on earth), take the millions he’s already earned from them and go on a real crusade to educate the world. His poor excuse of having to take a private jet just to get somewhere on schedule is pathetic at best. Would they shoot the movie without him if he was 6 hours later? He brags about his hybrid car, but I bet it accounts for less than one percent of the miles he logs per year. He doesn’t need the money, so why continue to work for an industry that is polar opposite of what he claims to stand for? Isn’t this a classic example of “Do as I say, not as I do”?
