I do, however, find it repulsive to see James Dobson quoted here. This man (and the group "Focus on the Family") has been responsible for generating much hatred toward others. See their teachings on gay children and more recently the story on the "Obama Waffles" that were sold at one of their conferences. There are plenty of quotes on the negative impacts of bullying from far more inclusive individuals than Mr. Dobson. At least they are trying to raise awareness. That's step one-to mention the elephant in the livingroom. I think that's why there is so much homeschooling nowdays. Schools are too dangerous. I think it causes alot of people to choose to not have kids , so the schools ignoring this problem, slowly causes schools to become less and less necessary. How is this going to help my son who currently gets bullied by a 19 year old senior who beat some other kid up so bad that he ended up in the hospital? The bully is still allowed in school!
