Pearl Jam’s Stone Gossard Still Planting Trees!

A couple weeks ago, Stone Gossard — guitarist for Peal Jam — took part in a tree-planting event, along with 200 other activists in Boston. The campaign, called “Dig It“, is all part of a Timberland-sponsored multi-city eco initiative to bring artists and activists together to celebrate the environment and music.

This part Saturday, Gossard was in Los Angeles for another leg of the Dig It tour. Partners The Timberland Company, national tree planting partner American Forests, and Los Angeles tree planting partner North East Trees facilitated the planting of 250 trees and removal of graffiti at the William Mead Housing Facility in downtown L.A. with the help of 200 volunteers.
