The fight continues to beat back anti-gay marriage propositions on the ballot in states like California, Florida, and Arizona. Earlier today, Apple announced that it was donating $100,000 to fight Prop 8 in California. “Apple was among the first California companies to offer equal rights and benefits to our employees’ same-sex partners, and we strongly believe that a person’s fundamental rights – including the right to marry – should not be affected by their sexual orientation,” the company said on its website today.

Additionally, the social networking site for good, Causecast, has released a new video that takes the words of Harvey Milk — the first openly gay man to be elected to public office in California — and turns them into a fantastic video. It’s moving, beautiful, and a true symbol of hope. Check it out below:
