On Wednesday night, Katherine Heigl, Mandy Moore and Alicia Silverstone all came out to support Australian designer Peter Alexander’s flagship L.A. store. Peter has been a long-time animal advocate and the event benefited rescue shelters, Hearts United for Rescue and Kinder4Rescue.
“Peter Alexander is an animal advocate and big on animal rescue,” Heigl told ET Online. “He approached me about this line to make it not only about his designs and who he is as a designer, but also who he is as an animal rescuer and advocate. He’s donating all of the proceeds from the pajama line to shelters that I work with a lot. It’s huge… there’s always another animal to be saved, but this will help so many.”
Mandy admitted she had a softspot for animal activists (yo, call me!) and well…we all know Alicia is one of the greatest animal rights spokespeople alive!
