    Actually, going as something scary–and eggs and bacon are frightening–is quite appropriate for Halloween, don’t you think?

    I bought my son a new costume for Halloween. Boo, I know. But my costume will be assembled from stuff around the house. He is going to be a shark. I’m going to put on my old snorkel gear and go as a diver. Good times!
    I usually make my own costume, but this is my first Halloween as a mom, and I don’t have the time to craft that I used to. I’m hoping as he gets older, that will change.
