With the new James Bond film set to hit theatres — sporting an eco-villain no less —  Greenpeace is taking advantage of all the media hype to go after coal energy in a new spoof on the franchise. The animation aims to raise awareness about plans to build the first new UK coal fired power plant in 30 years at Kingsnorth in Kent. It is the first of seven coal-fired power stations that energy giants like EON want to build across the UK. The government currently backs the plans; despite the fact burning coal is recognized as the single greatest threat to our climate. Viewers are encouraged to sign up online to help Greenpeace campaign to stop the new stations going ahead. Check it out below! For a high-quality viewing experience, jump here.
