Peter Facinelli Donates Twlight Ring To Cancer Charity Auction

The vampire love-story Twilight is set to debut in theaters this weekend — and most predict it will shatter all records for this time of year. Taking advantage of the hype, Peter Facinelliwho plays the veggie-vamp Dr. Carlisle Cullen — stopped by the The Bonnie Hunt Show this afternoon and offered his character’s ring for the host’s charity.

Twilight fan site, Bella and Edward, has the details saying,

“After the audience stops screaming, Peter talks to Bonnie about the making of the movie, if it stays true to the book and what his daughter thinks of the movie. Plus, Peter gives the ring his character wears in the movie to Bonnie for her to auction off in her upcoming ‘Bonnie’s Basement’ online auction which will benefit cancer research. Peter then goes into the audience to sign autographs and talk to his fans!”

To get specific, the profits from the auction of the ring will go towards the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University in Chicago. Click here for more details. Nice donation, Peter!
