One year ago, Brad Pitt took Ann Curry on a tour of what he hoped to accomplish with his Make It Right foundation in New Orleans Lower 9th Ward. At that time he told the Today Show anchor, “You’re going to see life coming in. We’ll have people in homes by the end of next summer.”
This morning, Pitt was reunited with Curry to talk about how far the foundation has come — and, true to his word, chat a bit about those people who once more have a roof above their heads. The interview took place in front of one of the first six homes now complete. However, Pitt’s got big plans for 2009. “This time next year, you’re going to see 100 homes here.” Check out the interview below:
