The original The Day The Earth Stood Still was about violence, world peace and nuclear proliferation. They should have stuck with the plot of the original. I honestly don’t know what a storm of nano-crickets eating steel road signs has to do with protecting nature. The whole thing seems to have been scripted on the back of a paper napkin. I hope people are curious enough to pick up the 1953 film, which was brilliant.

Give this woman a pat on the back. She is such a saint… she is a green icon for all of us… This woman is green? this woman went from Vegan to Omnivore because she had cravings… This is just plain dumb. She ain’t green. They should make a documentary and call it “The day her will got ill.”

Are we sure she’s vegan? Or was this just on a website somewhere? Could you ask her about it? I’ve looked for real confirmation but can’t find much.
