Sometimes we activist types get branded as having no sense of humor! Um, excuse me? I’m frigin hysterical! To prove that the eco scene can take a joke, PLENTY magazine recently featured a witty article called Stuff Environmentalists Like: Your Beginner’s Guide to Accessing, Befriending and Exploiting Green People. The piece was written by author Christian Lander – of Stuff White People Like fame — and examines the plight of the green citizen in a good old fashion side-splitting way.
In the piece, Lander points out:
“Environmentalists dislike the felling that they are powerless cogs in a big machine, which is one reason they talk so loudly at dinner parties about politics and reform. Fortunately for them, their homes are places where they can have complete control over every aspect of appearance, operation and governance. An environmentalists home is like a dictatorship with a compost heap.”
Come on guys…that’s funny! To find about more about why PLENTY cracks me up, visit PlentyMag.com!
A big thanks to the team at OrganicWorks for giving us the scoop!

It would help if he knew the difference between “felling” and “feeling.”
