Edward Norton signed his name in support of the Maasai Wilderness Conservation Fund during an event last week called “An Evening with Edward Norton and Friends at Christie’s New York”. The sponsor, Dewar’s Blended Scotch Whiskey, is sending the book around Hollywood circles in an effort to generate awareness and raise funds for the Maasai Wilderness Conservation Fund. The non-profit protects and preserves the local ecosystem of the Maasai people in Kenya. They also work to promote conservation, education and health services within the Maasai community. Norton is the acting President of the organization.

For every signature in the book, Dewar’s will donate money to the fund. To find out more about the work happening in Maasi to protect the environment and help its guardians, click here.

  1. Uh oh…we must be careful with the word “conservation”. I wonder if Edward Norton realizes he’s supporting elephant and rhino hunts with his signature.

DeWar’s Scotch Whiskey is the drink of many a Safari Club International member.
