peta_razzAnimal rights org PETA has released their list of what’s in for 2009 and what’s out — and we’re proud to say that we’ve made it to the “cool” side of the pile. Sure, we may not always agree with PETA’s tactics, but fighting for animal welfare and encouraging a meatless lifestyle is a shared value. We thank them for the shout-out and look forward to remaining “hip” throughout 2009.

Now that the pressure is on, I’m ordering Botox for everyone.

Check out the full list of what’s in and out for 2009 here.

    Congrats.

You’re “in” with PETA. Along with throwing red paint on old ladies, bankrolling arsonists, killing puppies, and lots of other undesirable things.

Is it too late for you to opt out?

  • The Science Commenter

    No Botox, my friend.

Every single batch must be tested on animals for toxicity.

    Congrats!

What part of killing puppies, bankrolling arsonists, and throwing paint at old ladies is good?

No surprise in PETA’s endorsement. Ecorazzi certainly kisses their @$$ enough. I’m surprised they didn’t send the list over with candy and a stripper.

Yes I agree PETA is IN! We need more people who will stand up for ethics and stop not only animal abuse, but abuse of any kind! I applaud People like Pamela Anderson who is standing up to Money loving greed monger companies like M&M Mars Candy Co. who continue to do horrible inhumane tests on animals just so they can say that candy is good and healthy for you and they can sell more candy! I guess it is so good for you is the reason most all schools in the country have banned candy from snack machines! Someday people & companies with no ethics like M&M Mars will be judged, if not in this lifetime, certainly by the Most High Judge – God Almighty!!!

I agree with Charlie. PETA is being watched by the FBI. They do give a wink and a nod to terrorists like the ALF. Ingrid Newkirk should be sitting in a federal prison rather than raking in millions from clueless contributors and corrupting mush-brained adolescents. There have been efforts to strip them of their status as a charity. Let’s hope these efforts eventually succeed, or that at least these bullying fascists and their evil agenda are truly exposed for what they are.

It’s tragic a site would endorse right back an organization that calls itself “animal rights” while animal rights activists themselves criticize PETA’s 97.4 % euthanasia rate and promotion of the exploitation of animals through “humane”-labeling of animal products.

  • VeggieTart

not that I’m a fan of PETA, but hey, congrats. Give ‘em credit for dissing Prop 8, I guess.

    And uh, Wolf Blitzer? Huh?

Charlie brings up a good point: PETA, where is our fur-free stripper?

  • Matt

Ahhh… with any PETA mention comes the anti-animal trolls who surf the web and post inflammatory mistruths designed to divide and conquer the animal rights movement. They might be more convincing if they didn’t all use the same cut and paste language.

  • http://green.thefuntimesguide.com Jeffrey

    lol @matt. that’s the truth

  • http://BrainyBlonde.com erin

I hope the stripper makes sure all that candy she has is vegan!
